Springtime not only brings new plant life but also new life in the animal kingdom.
Going to the park has been extra special over the past few weeks, as we have found countless ladybug larvae and pupae hidden in the bushes. Of course, we brought some back to school and observed them change into fully grown ladybugs.

After spending much time with our eyes almost glued to the tank, we drew pictures of them and noticed that they all had unique designs on their shells. Each day we counted how many had turned into ladybugs and returned them safely to the park, first letting them crawl on our hands before releasing them.
Our May celebrations included painting egg cartons and making carp to celebrate Children's Day, and making small bowls for Mother's Day to show them how much we love and appreciate them.

Additionally, we had our first Art exhibition, and we were
so excited to come to school after hours to show our families and friends all our creations, celebrating our own and our friends' creativity.

We have really come together as a small community over the past year, and we have developed such strong bonds with eachother while working, helping, playing and eating snacks and lunch with each other. Together, we have had months of practising good habits, learning to understand others' points of view, practising kindness and finding out just how capable we all are. We are resilient and joyful, just like our favourite flower, the dandelion!
With only a two weeks remaining before the summer holidays, we look forward to spending each day celebrating who we are!
